| My permit was approved via the website but not available to pick up for another week. Anyone know if I can print out the page online showing my permit is active and start carrying or should I wait till I pick it up on Friday? |

Resident or non-resident licences from other states are only recognized for non-residents of Ky. The only exception to that is for newly arrived residents coming from states that have reciprocity with Ky. and are waiting for their newly approved Ky. CCDW to arrive. They get to use the out of state license for 120 days. Open carry is the only legal alternative. |
