Just moved to the northern KY area (walton) this past week from Kansas.Aaaannnnndddd it sucked. I hate packing boxes, cleaning, loading, etc. that comes with moving. 3hr drive to KC and a 12 hr drive to our final destination in a 26 ft moving truck hauling a car... But we are ALMOST done!
Best part is that we bought a home and will be staying here for 3-10 years, or longer, depending on how the job situation goes. Wife had a 2 year contract, 3 year vestment in retirement, so we'll most likely be around for longer if she likes her job. I'm just so glad we aren't moving every year like we have been. So, that being said, I'm really looking forward to meeting some of you guys on here and having some fun here in KY. I was pretty active in the MO HTF when I lived there til last year and knew a lot of the people on here. Hoping to do the same on the KY HTF. Looking forward to some shoots in the area and will try to be a good resource on here as well. I've made a few threads on here asking advice. Thanks to everyone who have been very helpful with the move! |
