Wanted to go ahead and get the word out on this so anyone interested could get the date reserved on their calendar. We are still nailing down the exact details, so more info will be added in the next couple of days.
Sunday Nov 18 “Intro to ARs” This 6-7 hour classroom session for beginners will cover everything that you need to know about your AR. Topics will include; parts/pieces, assembly/disassembly, cleaning/maintenance, ammo, sights/optics, accessories/upgrades, and basic shooting techniques. There will be 2 tables full of AR Rifles and accessories for you to try out in the classroom. You can bring your own AR to work with during the class, or a loaner can be provided. If you are new to the “World of ARs”, then this class should help you figure out how to get the most out of what you have, and help you figure out which items may help you as you advance your shooting skills. The class will be held at Open Range Sports: 6401 Cross Keys Blvd Crestwood, KY, 40014 http://www.openrangesports.com 502-243-8282 Any questions or comments please feel free to post them here or contact me directly. Thanks, M Richardson |

Finally got the details ironed out.
Class will run from 09:00-16:00, with a 1 hour break for lunch. Cost is $75.00 per student (discount available for public safety and military), which covers the classroom, handouts, and a loaner AR if you need one. Once the class is completed at around 16:00, students will have the opportunity to shoot on the range up until 19:00 (additional range fees apply). The Instructor from the class will be around on the range following the class to help students with things covered in the class such as zeroing their AR (no additional fees). Hope to see some of you there, M Richardson PS: the Instructor has 26 years of service between the Military and Public Safety. He is a NRA Instructor, RSO, and KY CCDW Instructor. He is also a ranked competitor in multiple shooting disciplines to include High Power and Long Range. |

Last Call!
If you are planning on making the class, please contact Open Range and let them know that you will be attending. We can handle a couple of last minute walk-ins, but we want to make sure that we have enough resources to match the student count. Any questions on the class please feel free to contact me or Open Range. Thanks Again, M Richardson |
