I read on here about an attorney in Richmond that was recommended to use for a trust. Anyone use him? Was cost and turn around time reasonable?  I believe his name was Mike Fore. Any info would be appreciated, in Scott county and want a suppressor.

May I suggest that before you spend the money on an attorney, that you give consideration to speaking with Rex on this matter. He goes by C3man here on ArfCom. He was of great help to me in establishing my own trust.

Just got my stamp from a trust I established for free.  Worked great.  I called an attorney and he wanted $600.  Was very easy to do on my own.  Follow above advice, or do a search online.  if you want a copy of teh forms I used, feel free to PM me and I can e-mail them to you.

for you guys that use a trust on your NFA items I have  a quick question? Does the Trust have to pay anykind of taxes at the end of the year or even file a tax return? Thanks for the help

I know people who paid for a lawyer and those who used Quicken or a copy of their buddy's trust. Please consider the implications of either before you take the leap. I know free sounds a lot better than $300-$600 but it may be worth the piece of mind to spend some money. Just sayin...

There is nothing to be done tax wise for a trust. Actually, except for adding new toys there is really nothing to be done at all for a trust at the end of the year.

JSG has a point.  It's wise to be cautious, but the implication with this is that it gets kicked back to you and you either have to resubmit or supply supplemental information.  I, personally, have found that it's not worth the legal fees.
