Well, went to try and put the magpul MOE replacement trigger guard in my rifle, and the roll pin is being a royal pain in the ass. I've already done this on my other rifle and 2 friends rifles using just a punch and bracing the ears... But this rifle is not going the same way. Basically after mad hammer swinging, I have managed to move it exactly not at all. Does anyone in the Louisville area own roll pin punches that they wouldn't mind me having 2 minutes with, or have any other options for getting that trigger guard pin out? Just not in a financial state right now to go buying yet more tools to fiddle around with my guns.

Try using vice grips to put the pin in.  Just tape the ends of the grips and squeeze it in.  Works better than using a punch IMO.

^^ This..
Use a the pliers & squeeze the role pin to get it started in the hole. Then squeeze it in place.

Did you try liquid wrench or PB Blaster to help it loosen up maybe?

you can, never had to use any before. I use a 2x4 with a small hole in it. I align the roll pin over the hole and use a punch. You could also use a drill bit if you have one the right size. Good luck.

Thats basically my set up... Already broken a brass punch... I cant convey the furious hammering that has netted me no movement of the roll pin. Im at a loss and at the moment refuse to make this a gunsmith problem... I've done the damn thing numerous times already!! Driving me crazy.

It may be a bad roll pin? I had some a while back for beretta and they were the wrong size. I would check it or go the other route......drill and tap for a set screw, there is someone selling one in EE for the magpuls. Only a couple bucks, might check that out.
