| Anyone have any experiences with Slingpoint's gunsmithing/building abilities? I'm looking to have some minor (hard to mess up) things done to my AR. I'm wanting an XS same plane aperture put into the rear sight and I have an ACE M4 SOCOM stock that needs installing. I usually don't do my own gunsmithing. Are these guys good? |
Where are you at? I would help you with your stock for free, they can't be any different to install than a standard M4 stock are they? |

I'm in Lexington, and I actually think (not certain) that one might be easier to install than a standard M4 stock; the RET and stock are all one piece. ETA: I think a buddy of mine has a spanner wrench and the know-how of doing the stock. So that covers that. However I still am gonna have to get the sight aperture taken care of by somebody else or get the tools to do it from somewhere. |

I got both of my things taken care of. The stock was barney easy. I was removing an A2 and installing an Ace SOCOM, so I didn't even need a spanner wrench. I took the carry handle to Classic and they put the aperture on right then and there for free. With that said, I do want to check out Slingpoint sometime. |
