Alright fellas, there is a guy in Nichloasville that deals in CIII/Title 2 items. I want to look into seriously buying the AAC M4-1000 can. First, I need to know the shop/guy where to start looking. Secondly, how did you go about it? (CLEO or Trust or LLC, etc.) Lastly... well I don't know yet. More questions to come, I'm sure. Stump, I'll probably need your help if you're willing. |

pretty sure the fayett sheriff si unwilling you'll have to do a trust, thats what i heard anyway, order a set (two) form 4's, and 2 fingerprint cards. do you have contact info on the guy i too am looking for a m41k close to home, i may have found a dealer in morehead but i'm haveing trouble getting his contact information, guess he dosent like unwanted attention from lookyloos serious buyers only. im looking for an m41k in stock, already ahve the papers filled out and half the prints that i need, just looking for the ebst location and one in stock. |

Moonshiner is correct, you will have to do a trust here in Fayette county. But, the trust makes everything so much simpler that it's really pretty sweet. With the trust you won't need the CLEO sign off, fingerprints or picture. Just the trust paperwork notorized and the form 4 filled out by the dealer. The first step is to get in touch with the dealer you want to use or one that has the item you want in stock. You then need your trust paperwork in order. You can either go through an actual attorney and set up a Revocable Living Trust, or you can get the do-it yourself software like Quicken's Willmaker and do it at home in about 15-20 minutes. I used the software, I bought it off ebay for $20 After the trust is filled out, get it notorized and it is now a legal document here in KY, you do not have to file it with anyone in the state. Make a copy of your Certification of Trust and mail it with the Form4 from the dealer along with a $200 check to the ATF and just wait Feel free to message me any questions you have. I've done the trust deal 3 times now, plus helped my friend Jon do it, with zero hiccups. |
I've been bitten by the damn BRD bug again, I thought I got rid of it. PM inbound to you Stump. |

He started signing the 2 sets of form 4's and i asked how much NFA paperwork he went through, he said well i guess your the only assassin in lewis county... then he said not much. Sherrif is so easy going its crazy. so now i just have to fidn the right dealer with one in stock, i left the manufacturer, serial and dates blank. i have the cash, the check, fingerprints, and a set of forms for my dad, and a set to transfer from him to me as i'm under 21... so i'll have to bite the $400 bullet on taxes but how many 18 y/o's do you know that can pull a can out. |
Thanks, JDP, I was looking for that guys information in my IM's that someone had sent me earlier in the year but couldn't find it. I didn' even notice it listed in that topic Rex Tyson - Class III Kentucky Firearms Nicholasville, KY (859) 361-9444 NFA Transfers - $75 bucks |

Bah well I'm back from vacation but I decided not to get it just yet anyways! I'm about to buy a motorcycle so the suppressor will have to wait. I'm planning to get it soon however so it is not all for naught. Thanks to Stump, it should go easily when I do put in for the suppressor! I'll keep y'all updated when I do do it. |
