I thought I'd post this over here across the river in case you guys don't check the Ohio board. This looks to be a pretty good time. This is the first year for it, but I'd love to see a big shoot closer to home get off the ground. SOUTHERN-OHIO MACHINEGUN SHOOT JUNE 17-19, 2005 We welcome ALL TYPES of machineguns and light artillery. We will have room for wheeled and tracked vehicles. We are working out a TANK TRAIL now. Have something unique and want to try it out? Ask us and we will try to accommodate Targets will consist of appliances and autos laced with lots of exploding Tannerite Shooting positions will be 8 foot wide x 12 foot deep. There are 62 numbered positions available Beltfeds and artillery pieces 42 positions available--targets out to 400m. Shoulder fired weapons only 20 positions available--targets out to 150m. Position preference will be given to early registrants A fee of $100 per position will guarantee your spot for the 3-day weekend. This fee will include complimentary parking and admission for 2 adults. One day fee is $80. Access To Your Position Will Be Drive-up Capable Discounted Rates at Local Hotels Are Available (contact for list) Onsite Camping for Shooters/Vendors Only is Limited Vendors please contact us SOON regarding space General Admission is $8 Per Person. Children 12 and Under Free Machinegun Rental for Spectators Our range is located between Portsmouth and Jackson Ohio near Minford.
