Oh my. I found myself smiling involuntarily more times than I can ever recall during a presidential speech and I remember Reagan, too. There is no Rino there, btw.
Trump has nothing to lose. Remember, he didn't "need" the job. He had more money and social power than he could ever spend in his lifetime. He may have toyed with the election early on but I believe it became an obsession with him as being the challenge of a lifetime. It was like telling him 'you can't do that job, you're just a businessman". With that he decided to divest himself of his billions (at least at arms length) and spit in their eyes as he won the job. Now, he's accepted the challenge and he's going to make it work, even if it takes some arm twisting (breaking?) and he has to get some of those A####LE democrats in a windowless room; the ones who had the unmitigated nerve to allow themselves to be filmed sitting on their hands during very poignant parts of the speech. If there ever was EXCELLENT message source material for the Republicans to use it will be from that speech. Today I've heard a lot of people who held their collective noses when they elected Trump. They are getting comfortable with the fact that this guy means business. I'm not a big fan of paid family leave act but I'll gladly trade that decision for building the wall, reducing corporate taxes, and rebuilding our military all the while reducing regulations. BTW, you haven't read this but according to a very good source I have, the Trump government has removed two terms from the lexicon: Global Warming and Climate Change. You won't hear them from anyone especially the EPA. That's cool. He even had the report on climate change removed from the report. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-epa-climatechange-idUSKBN15906G This is going to be something to watch. Just hope it continues to move forward. Rome |

im not holding my breath . rinos gonna rino And there in lies the problem. Trump can only do so much (especially with EO's). Its Congress who has to get off its ass and pass some bills for Trump to sign. Right now it's Congressional Rino's being Rino's. For example the Congress could propose and pass any of the bills they sent Obama to repeal Obamacare so Trump could repeal Obamacare yet they won't do it. Instead they waffle and try divert people's attention as to why they haven't or won't.

It's hard to watch last night and not believe that trump has America in his heart and wants it to be great.
Trump is no rino. Whatever his political title is; I believe he is a conservative American, and wants the best for this country. I'm still waiting to hear what he wants to do for gun owners though. Regardless if congress allows it, I want to know what offensive measures he has in store for us! |

of course. but now its time to see if he will actually do what he said. i wont believe anything until i see it happen What part of the past 5 weeks did you miss? He has done more in 5 weeks than any other president I've seen in my 60+ years. The shit heads in congress are the problem. |
