My brother, God bless him, found this beast sitting in a garage in Thompsonville, across the street from where he was working. My bro saw the outline of this car through a dirty garage window and found the owner sitting in a rocking chair on his porch. My bro chatted him up and discovered that the owner was going to jail for his 6th DUI He agree to sell the car to my bro for..........$5500. . Bro put about $5k into it, drove it for about 5 years, and then recently sold it for...........$ 55,000 to a fella in Middletown who wants to race it. I saw the check. Why can't I find crap like that????

Aww man! That looks like a 930 (one of my favorite cars). I sold my 911 back in the early 80's. I miss it to this day.
Regarding missing the car purchase I have a story for ya: Back around 1975 I missed out on buying a Lamborghini Miura for about $7,000 (or something like that). Oh well. |
