If you plan to SBR it then its no problem getting SLFU to issue a CoP for it. Others are getting the CoP for their prebans due to ATF demanding the CoP in order to process the SBR paperwork on prebans. |
| I've never heard of anyone getting a COP for one. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened, but no one has posted about it here. Everyone knows that they are preban because of an importation ban that Clinton signed in 94, but the problem is finding that proof in black and white to show diedre. Is SLFU not accepting notarized sworn affidavits from those who are submitting the applications when they go to SBR a preban? I would think since the application form states one can supply a sworn affidavit, or even a printed receipt if one has it from pre 9/13/94, that it should suffice for those who cannot obtain a letter/documentation from the firearm manufacturer. |

Very nice lady and she knows her shit That's interesting because in the recent past, she wanted people to provide on letterhead from manufacturers , that the firearm was manufactured before 1994- which was impossible because many companies went out of bidness years ago |

She asked me if I was SBRing for the reason for the cert She also helped me out in the past. She certainly knows what she is doing. I'm thankfull we have her in the office to assist us all. It isn't often I encounter someone knowledgeable, willing and eager to help in a public service position. I would high five her if I had the chance. |
