Bought a Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced SSA-E Two StageTrigger today, Primary Arms had a big
4th of July sale so.... I pulled the trigger and bought one- pun intended. Any experience with them? Like or dislike? |

I have not used the SSA-E but I have 2 of the SSAs installed in AR15s. I love them nice 2 stage with a crisp break. Liked them so much I have 2 more sitting on the shelf. I believe that is what I have -SSA, in my rifle ! Now I have the next level up! I have been buying up shit like it was not going to be available anymore |

Why not join the larue fanny bandit club and buy one of his ? Far superior from what I've read Yes, they are. BTW, The LTFBC meets on the second Tuesday of every month. New guys bring snacks. Are they truly a superior trigger? What makes them superior? Mike Edit: I do like LT. I have a couple of their mounts. I almost bought a RAT stock this weekend as they will now ship to CT. |

Kidding about the obvious superiority. Just wondering when Mark drove to CT, kicked bikerman's puppy and drove back to Texas. Anyway, on my tactical/benchrest ARs I have always used Geissele HiSpeed DMR triggers. I've tried a bunch of others like RRA and KAC but always preferred Geissele. I only tried the LT MBT2 because of the $125 sale but I'm glad I did. I had it installed in my LT OBR and used it this weekend. I'm not qualified to review a trigger and I doubt anyone here is either so this is subjective. I preferred the geometry of the LT and really liked the width and comfort of the trigger face. There was a distinct, predictable and repeatable transition from double to single to let off. Very crisp and a very positive reset. To be fair, my DMR was not properly adjusted in the OBR (way too light single stage) but even if it were, I prefer the LT. I have three other rifles with Geissele DMRs and I won't be changing them. I just like having the LT trigger in my favorite rifle that also happens to be an LT. YMMV. |

I have a G2S in my SBR. That is about as far away from a polished mil spec trigger I've gone. I like it because it is a bit faster then OEM, but feels nearly the same. I've also use an adjustable pistol grip screw to remove the creep from a polished mil spec trigger for my AR pistol.
Beyond that my only experiences with aftermarket triggers is a Timney Gold drop in and a Tac-com 3mr. I'd love to shoot different triggers, but I never get the chance. |

My Beowulf has the SSA-E and its great. My SR-556 has there 3 gun and that's a blast. Doubles,,,, triples, and what ever you like are easy once you practice a bit. you actually need to practice to only fire singles. It will double on you when you first start using it. Some people actually complain about it but it just take getting used to. The reset is as close to zero as you can safely get.
I was going to put it in the Beowulf but then I thought better. It wouldn't be good doing several round bursts with the .50 cal |
