Cabelas had 22 mag, 22 mini mags, standard vel, and stingers!..  

I bought one of each... But they told me I couldn't buy more than a hundred rounds at a time...i get let through with a warning...

I'll wait till the time comes where bulk packs are back on the shelves everywhere.  I'll reload and shoot other calibers until then.  I have a few thousand rounds I'll save for my critter plinking in the fall.  I don't need to burn up a brick of 22's at the range.  Not worth the trip to buy 100 rounds.  This is still nuts.

I am with you. No special trip for 100 rounds. I have a small stash of .22LR. I found most of it in December when driving to Michigan for work. I stopped a couple stores on my way in Ohio. I was stopping to buy powder. Saw the .22LR subsonic CCI. Grabbed the limit at each store.

We usually shoot the .22 at the range because it is suppressed. But my son and I find the .22 boring after a couple magazines each.

i have a very small stash, only 3 bricks. i use my 22s for squirrel hunting more then shooting. that said if i see a brick i usually buy it.
