do we actually get certs to say we reg our mags and weapoins if so how long? I got form letter saying so but no official paper

The form letter is, to my knowledge, all that they are sending out to those who declared magazines.
If your application is approved (for Cert. of Poss. for assault weapons/ registration), the certificate on the bottom will be returned to you with an embossed seal and serial number applied. |

At most you may get a form letter from DESPP attesting you submitted the paperwork declaring your large capacity magazines. |
