Just got home. Which one of you fools was wearing the CCDL shirt and OCing? My cop Buddy was telling me about that incident. Guess he had his own film crew So, what happened? They get arrested? The last I saw of them, they were walking west on West Main away from the former BOA (at the intersection of Main, West Main, and Bank) where they had been talking to officer R, who I believe was posted there to guard the cashiers. [I believe that at that point they were leaving the festival area, because I went down the extension to get a slice from the Max's booth shortly after and did not see them over there, so I know that they did not turn- nor did I notice them around later in the evening] I did not see them be arrested (custodial or citation) or even asked to produce ID. From what I saw, the OCer's approached officer R and initiated any conversation that they had with him. (I did see several other people independently walk up to officer R just after they left, not sure if they were concerned about those people, or if it was unrelated). Officer R generally has a calm personality and seemed to be handling them in stride. If there is more to the story than what I saw I would love to know. I haven't seen anything on the CCDL facebook page or on OCDO, so my assumption is that they did not get the negative attention that those types live for. (Edited to clean up some of the really confusing and grammatically incorrect lingo that got left behind from my series or rewrites and insertions) |

OK so let me get this straight. OC'in is now bad on arfcom cthtf. Just want to keep up with the times There's a time and place for an everything. A beer garden is probably not the place to OC. Since I wasn't drinking (it's well established here that I don't drink) , maybe I should have OCed my P-38, you know, to celebrate my Germanness and what not.....and, um, remind everybody that guns are normal. Maybe I \should have went full OCT and added my Kar. 98 for full effect. [The part suggesting OC is sarcasm] What I'm saying is that while not illegal, their behavior did not fit the setting. It stood out and not in a helpful way. Considering what I saw them do, I don't think that they had any real positive intentions. Rather, I believe that they were there for trouble, which thankfully they DID NOT get. |
