Its perfectly legal to buy a magazine in any state that doesn't have any restrictions on them. What is illegal is bringing it into CT (if your not in the exempted class). |

I Dunno. I'll tell ya this though. It's pretty legal to buy online, and pay less, and get your shit shipped to me, than it is to drive to fucking Vermont...

No, it's not. Bringing them back to CT is what's illegal.
Who's gonna know? I don't know anyone obsessive enough to keep receipts for all ammo, mag and accessory purchases. No one saw the ban coming before Sandy Hook. Maybe you bought them before hand and lost the receipt?
As long as you're not over the count that you registered... |

I think that's pretty much the point. Nobody knows if anyone IS checking or not. It's an established fact that the more security conscious a society becomes, the more it deteriorates into another North Korea where the police assume citizens are criminals first and everyone's personal effects are put through an X-Ray machine like they do at airports....or pretty anywhere in New York City. |

I like how there's 30 round PMags on eBay now. They are pinned to only accept 10 rounds though. Pinned with an aluminium rivet. I heard that aluminum is a really strong, high-hardness metal that is difficult to cut, drill, or machine. Rivet-grade aluminum especially so. |

A few months back Hoffmans was selling 30rnd mags that were pinned in a similar manner. I commented to my friend "hey, look! That tiny rivet makes them legal" to which they replied "that little rivet probably won't stay in there after the mag leaves the store, will it?"

Well the easy way around that: If surf were to have a paypal account, and you happened to gift Surf some money. And he happened to order some mags and you happened to pick them up later . . . . There may or may not be anything to check. So does brother surf have a paypal account...? |

I would at least get home before popping them out. Because you've been in my car before and Know how I drive

Surf's a known quantity 'round here; an all-around good guy that's definitely on our side. Hell, he even set up the NEHTF shoot back in April 2012. |
