I know I'm late to the party here, but last minute question.
Is it too late to mail my paperwork in, or do I need to go wait in line at DPS and have it approved prior to 1/1/14? |

Quoted: Thanks guys, thats what I thought. So if you still have time to mail it in, why are so many people waiting in line at DPS? |

Either they don't know they can, or are unsure if the state will accept apps they receive after 1/1. Some of them probably think if they show up in person the process will be quicker. Quoted:

Unrelated to this I was at my local post office today which closed at noon. They had a sign on their door mentioning some post offices in closing at 3 (I did not pay attention to which post offices are open until 3) Drive around and find a mail box with flag up put in your letter in and keep fingers crossed
