Police file to be released on Newtown shooting
http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/12/26/3838495/police-file-to-be-released-on.html Connecticut authorities said they planned Friday to release state police documents from the investigation into last year's Newtown school massacre. State police said their report totaling several thousand pages will be released at 3 p.m. Friday. The report "has been redacted according to law," and includes text, photos and 911 calls received by state police, they said Thursday. Prosecutors issued a summary of the investigation last month that portrayed the gunman, Adam Lanza, as obsessed with mass murders, but the report concludes that Lanza's motives for the massacre might never be known. Update #1: Per DESPP the report will be released at the following URL at 3pm. www.ct.gov/statepolicenewtownreport Update #2: See the previous link, the reports are now online. Lots of info to go through for those interested. |

And away we go.... |

conndcj, why would you make a snarky reply and not simply answer the question I posed?
When you attempt to ridicule truth seekers, you ally yourself with the gun-grabbers and politicians. Is that the side you want to align yourself with? Also, coincidence Rueben Bradford announces his resignation the VERY DAY the Sandy Hook Official Report is reported by media to be released the next day? |

What this time? They found a Michael Myers poster in the kid's basement? Quick, tell channel 3! Push for mandatory permit denials on anyone who saw the movie Halloween! Wtf. What is the point they're trying to make with these lame weekly reports put out by the anti-constitutional state police ? Here's what happened.... 1 nut, not representative of the rest of the state or country, killed a bunch of people. None of us were happy about it. Awful crimes have happened since the dawn of existence. Up security against creeps in public places and let this fucking incident rest. |

Any opinions on why the crime scene photographer for the State Police (a professional) did not show the end of the barrel in the photo of the Bushmaster "Adam Lanza" supposedly used? What does the muzzle device on the end of the barrel have to do with 27 dead people? Does it somehow change the fact they died? Or are people just looking for any little detail to question and infer that somehow because the muzzle device wasn't shown that means there is something nefarious going on, that this is somehow the smoking gun that proves the government/police lied? They showed pictures of the gun cabinet, yet didn't show any pictures of the lock to show if a key was in it. Does that somehow mean that the photographer was inept? That something nefarious is being hidden? It is not out of the realm of possibility that what we see in the photo is just a gun laying on the ground at a crime scene and nothing more. About the only thing seeing the muzzle device does is allow us, those knowledgeable about guns, to see if it was a muzzle brake or a flash suppressor. One is legal, the other isn't depending on the other features on that firearm. But people see what they want to see and will make logic leaps either real or imagined out of what they interpret in the photo and will extend that logic leap to those who took the photos. We are liable to see thousands of photos later today, its very possible there will be better photos of the firearm at that point. Those who don't believe the government/state police will have ample new material to pour over and speculate about. Strap your selves in folks its going to be a wild ride as everyone speculates on this new information. |

We already know why. The kid was hard core antisocial and he got the idea from all these other mass shootings to commit his own large scale murder/suicide as a great big SCREW YOU ALL to society. He knew full well that shooting up an elementary school would have a more far reaching emotional impact than shooting up a retirement home, and everything he did shows he knew ithe drive to the Sandy Hook school was going to be a one way trip. Not that it matters, since this is a boring explanation, and the conspiracy loons don't like it when major tragedies like this have boring explanations. |

Yeah, my opinion is that the photographer aimed his viewfinder a tad too much to the right. Anyone have the serial number? Wonder if it shows in the state's transfer database that CTCarry dug up.... I think what is going on oa that crime scene photographers are trained to obtain the most relevant part of the subject and not get the overall picture. It is evidence collection. The detail was that it was a semi auto bushmaster XM-15. This is like photographing Lanza's corpse but his outstretched long ass alien arm leaving his hand out of frame and asking "how do we know he even had the fingers to pull the trigger???" |

Yep, I've had almost this exact same discussion with the 9/11 "inside job" conspiracy loons. It isn't the case there is really any actual evidence of a conspiracy. It's really the case they *want* there to be a conspiracy, so they grasp at any and every straw no matter how mollecular it is in order to keep the idea of conspiracy alive. If the photographer even remotely could have imagined the conspiracy theorists were going to go over his photos with a microscope looking for sinister secret hidden meanings they're "so sure" have to be there, he would have made sure he would have included it. In the real world, if this was an actual conspiracy they would have either released a staged photo of a weapon thsat wasn't involved, or they wouldn't have released any photo at all. |

I give zero fucks about this BS report. It's a free country, but in truth you really do owe it to yourself to be knowledgable about the report. The more you know what the report says, the more you can justify confronting those lying sacks of shit gun control nuts and telling them to their face that the report proves they're just exploiting the tragedy to push their own personal political beliefs onto others. The kid was planning this attack for some time which makes it more of a terrorist attack than anything else and yet somehow the gun prohibitionists are blaming legal guns owners for it. It's self serving and disgusting regardless of whatever fancy words they use to describe what they're doing and I take advantage of every opportunity I get to let them know it. |

Oh NOES he had duct tape and used it to combine the magazines, better ban that to.
I went when I saw the photo of Nancy Lanza's NRA cert and the instructor's business card. Hope he doesn't get a lot of angry gun grabber calls after his name was put out there for the entire world to see.

I hope the state does not pay the photographer "Farr" very much. His photos were horrible, nearly all were out of focus, poorly lit, mostly way underexposed and very poor framing. I could do better with a cell phone camera. A professional photographer should have no excuse for any of those issues. I see why Sandy Hook wanted to demolish the school. it was too small. There were temporary classrooms on site and the building was in fair condition at best. Good excuse to milk the State for money and get a new school. |

Hate to revive this one but NBC 30 s lead tonight . Some state officials say there is critical info missing from the report. NO SHIT! Some members of the Sandy Hook commission have complained recently about the lack of health information on Nancy and Adam due to HIPPA and other regulations that keep that information private. Edit: Sandy Hook Commission Wants More On Lanza's Mental Health Members of the state's Sandy Hook Advisory Commission vented their frustrations Friday about what they said was too little information being released about the mental health of Adam Lanza, the shooter who killed 20 first-graders and six women at Sandy Hook Elementary School last December. <see link for full article> |
