Hi Guys
I did find some archive stuff but I want to be 100% sure that this comp. is CT legal?

I'm looking for a quick do it yourself upgrade over the factory comp.
Anyone know what the cost of getting a barrel threaded and permanent brake attached runs?
I was thinking Jojo's maybe? What time frame on getting that done vs just screwing this one on.
I understand the factory comp. will fly off one day so I'm trying to avoid that.
Also the factory comp. can be removed easily by removing a couple pins right?
Thanks
Tim

I'm not an expert but if they call it a flash hider I would avoid. There are safer (legally speaking) alternatives out there.

Also, anything attached has to be permanent (pin / welded) as the muzzle thread is a no-go. Permanent attachment eliminates this feature.

that comp doesnt thread on it slips onto a .701 diameter barrel and is locked with set screws.

the end looks closed but i woild look for one that has a letter from the batfe that says its not a flash hider

CT State Police Special Weapons unit told me they go with the manufacturers intent.  The maker calls it a flash hider, so I would look for something else.  However, since CT is planning to pass a new AWB by the end of the month, this all may be moot.

Functionally, that is a perfectly legal compensator. Their description calls it a comp and it is a slip on device.

I would hesitate since they title it as a flash hider, but that might be intended to mean it gives the appearance of one.

They state it is postban ATF approved, I would inquire if they can provide a copy of the ATF letter if you order.
