| Anyone In CT know a good place to get my lower engraved? I'm in Central CT. NGX suggested calling a trophy shop or something like that. just looking for other options. Thanks. |

send it out to ident
fast and looks like it belongs on there. http://www.identmarking.com/ I just used a regular trophy shop to laser engrave it for $10, but it does not meet ATF depth requirements.

They (NFA branch) want you to engrave your info to that depth, which laser etching won't do. Technically not illegal, but if they wanna play hardball you either lose your NFA for 6-12 months and get it back with a shitty engraving job or they let you do it over. Dan, care to remind me why you didn't send to Ident like I recommended? |

what type of engraving tool? i'll check out home depot and lowes. how'd it come out? Dremel Engraving Tool It came out as good as it can when doing by hand. Nothing to rave about, but it isn't sloppy and is located where I want (bottom of magwell lip), along with being the exact size to fit. I practiced on a different lower on the front of the magwell and that came out fine - that is SBR'd, too. ETA - I already had the engraving tool. If you are in the Manchester area you can swing by and use it to engrave if that's the route you decide to go |
