FFL transfer fees > Connecticut

Can anyone tell me where the cheapest ffl transfer fees are in the hartford area, or if anyone knows where I could find a mega lower receiver in ct? Thanks.

Not in the Hartford area, but I used Delta Arsenal in Meriden about a year and half ago, and they charged me 20 bucks. Was the lowest price I found back then. Don't know if they raised the price but worth giving them a call.

They are still $20.

kind of a haul for me to meriden, I saw that riverview in east windsor used to be $20, so I gave them a call today and they said $50, never been there, and now will probably never go there after reading all the horror stories. 50 bucks is just crazy, its about half the price of a damn lower. I usually go to newington gun exchange but 40 bucks is just too much also.

Thanks for that info! 35 doesnt sound so bad especially if I can drive 5 mins down the road. Moneys not really the issue, I just dont want to pay that much just for a transfer

. I got a stag lower in april for 100 otd from tactical arms in torrington. They may still have them for that, but I'm pretty set on the mega rollmark for my second build. Also, would you know the contact info for provost precision or specifically where they are. I cant find anything on them, and I've never seen it driving around in weatogue, thanks again.

Over on ctguntalk, hayes1966 put together a list of every FFL in the state. Obviously it includes manufacturers and fabricators as well, but everyone is listed. There are a lot out there. I can't get the list for you, but it can be found with a little dilligence.

Hayes1966 posts here rarely, so best to check there or neshooters

I don't think you'll do better than $25-$30 though. Gas is too much to try to save much more either.

Also, if you belong to a sportsmans club, ask around. Most clubs have a few enterprising fellows that are part time FFLs with club rates.

yea ill look for that list, thanks dan. I did find out some info about that place in weatogue, it seems like a small place or an out of a house business, im not sure though, but I'll give the guy a call too.
