Does anyone here do IDPA in CT? If so, where abouts? I'm interested in getting into it. I hear the Bridgeport range does it every other Tuesday. |

There is a plate shoot tomorrow night at Bport at 630. Dont think it is IDPA though.

I met these gents at Metacon.
First Sunday of the month they have a shoot open to the public. Good guys! http://necpl.com/allmatches.html |

| You'll find plenty of opportunity to participate in plenty of sanctioned matches as well that are within reasonable driving distance. Hartford Gun Club host the state match in October, Harvard Sportsman Club host the regional match in August and the Indoor Winter Nationals are held in Springfield at the Smith and Wesson Shooting Sports Center in February. |

i'm going to try and hit up the Bridgeport match next Tuesday. I know my gun and holster (Sig P229 and Comp-Tac MTAC) are good to go, but the mag pouch i have, i dont really know. It does cover more than 2 inches of the mags, holds them secure, etc, but sticks out a bit, kinda like what would disqualify a holster - its just a cheap uncle mike's, so i don't know if that is going to be ok. how long do the matches usually last, all the way till ten? |
