Just came from the Danbury show, small, but I needed to get out of the house. Word is next weeks show in Wallingford will be twice the size. My one huge complaint about this show, KEEP YOUR FUCKING KIDS HOME. There is no reason for a woman to be pushing a baby carriage around at a gun show. If you think your 5-10 year old is interested, well I have news for you, he isn't. |

SO exactly when should some one take their kids to these shows? WHen they are 13 and beyond the point of interesting them in guns?
My son has been going to shows with me since he could walk and is now a very pro-2A kid that even high school brainwashing cant shake. |

We hit the danbury show today. It was really packed and ALOT of kidsand a pile useless people. The isles were all blocked in some way with either women and kids doing nothing or a mass of retards talking in a group and not buying shit. One table I wanted to get to was constantly blocked by a pack on non buying bullshitting guys and some guy screaming about chinese jean that fall apart with non working xippers or some shit. I got disgusted and left. Shame too because I had a wad of cash in my pocket and wanted 2 of the rifles on the table.
I should have just gone up to Guns and Safes , had lunch at hooters and came home instead. |

When I go to Guns and Safes I usually encounter the same problem minus the kids. It sucks cause i usually have a wad of cash but the 2 young guys that work there are usually trying to impress someone and never even acknowledge me being there. I walk around and then I leave. Last time I was there I asked about them getting an AK 74 in for me (post ban, Ct compliant). Young dude rambles on about how AK74's could get me into trouble cause the look like AK47's. He then tells me that ak74's fall into a gray area of law in ct. I just say Ok, leave and buy one from another dealer in Ct. I love it man.
