Well i used to live in CT and still have my CCW permit. I moved to Florida about 7 month ago. I am planning on visiting CT in a couple week and wanted to maybe pick up a Glock 19. Would it be a problem purchasing since i live in FL now? Can i just walk into say NGX and purchase a handgun and bring it back home to FL with me? Im just worried about any legal issue here. Ive notified State of CT with my address change since i first moved here. Still waiting on my CCW here in FL. I can wait 3 days if i purchase a handgun in FL but the prices are crazy for glocks here! Thanks

You can't purchase a handgun in CT as a FL resident.

+1    No handgun sales to out-of-state residents unless you want to buy it here and have the FFL ship it overnight to your FFL in FL.  It would be no different than if you had bought one on-line.  That won't put it in your hands here and you'll be incurring shipping and xfer fees, probably making it as expensive as buying it in FL.

+1 to what was already stated.  Just shop on one of the auction sites and find a Florida FFL that doesn't charge an outrageous price to do the transfer.

Also, if you're in South Florida, rather than purchase a gun, just check out the bushes on various street corners at around 5:00am.  You'll probably find every Glock model available.
