How old does a NH resident have to be to obtain a CCW? I'm 20 right now and I'd like to get a permit to cary this summer. I go to school in WI (no CCW :() but I'd like to be able to carry as soon as I get back to NH for Christmas break. Would I be able to get one this summer? Also, what's the process? I'm having trouble finding this stuff online. Thanks.

NH Statues are actually silent on age if I recall correctly...much like ME...I got my ME permit when I was 19 and the laws have not changed.
So if I were you I would apply. After all you are legally allowed to own a handgun...you just can't buy a handgun from a dealer.
The process is VERY simple in NH
Fill out a one page application, bring it and $10 down to your local police station, and wait about a couple of days. They will give you a call and tell you to come down and sign your permit and pick it up.
They are VERY flimsy and good for 4 years so most people will make a copy, shrink, and laminate them.

You must be 18 years old to get a CCWs in New Hampshire. The process is very easy.  Here is a link to the application: lINKY

And a link to the City of Concord Police Dept. Webpage with some instructions: Linky

Could not be easier unless you lived in Vermont.

Mine is a hard card.

Is it only because it's a Non-Res?

yeah, resident permits are printed on very thin paper that are too large to be carried without reducing or folding. I moved out of NH now I have a non-res and like it MUCH better than the other one

Joe, try the site packing.org, or look up the RSAs in the NH General Court website. Every RSA in the books is online there.
I am not sure why NH still uses the paper CCW permit, but I for one wish they would modernize our permits. It can be a bit akward when you travel to a state with reciprocity with NH, another state that issues a card style permit, and you have to show yours to an LEO.

Glad to know it's easy. I want to send in my app here shortly.:)

Paper is cheaper - keeps taxes down. We like that.

My paper permits have withstood the standard "folded up in a wallet" torture test just fine.

+1 on packing.org. Great resource.
