I'm planning to go do some hog hunting in a couple of weeks. Private land. Caddo County I believe. Tips? Suggestions? How will I do in that area population wise?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

Hog hunting is something almost all of us want to do, but most of us are unable to gain access to do it.  Have fun, you are getting to do something most of us only dream about.

Use enough gun.
Aim small, miss small.
Don't drop your only gun to scramble up a tree while fleeing a wounded hog.  He won't get bored and you'll be there all day. (Advice from a friend who made that mistake years ago.)

I'm sure PETA had a coronary when they saw that!

Caddo County is good. I hunted a place south of Round Top, west of Anadarko that was really good. We killed a lot of hogs there.

IME, hogs are starting till hit the wheat around this time. If you can, check out the wheat fields. Look for signs of rooting. Bait them.
