Couple of museums, the local historical society museum at the Santa Fe
Depot, and the Mabee-Gerer Museum at St Gregory's University, a pretty
nice small museum, art, Egyptian, Greek and Roman artifacts and our own
Egyptian mummy.

We have a bunch of casinos, biggest one is the Grand Casino west of town.

OKC
isn't far, lotsa stuff to do there, 45 Division Museum, great museum, free, outdoor
exhibits, and you could spend a whole day looking at the Bill Mauldin
WW2 Pulitzer Prize winner cartoon collection.  Everybody we send there really likes this one!

We have two theater complexes in Shawnee, both owned by the same people, a movie complex of about 8 theaters and the movies at the mall, 5 or 6 theaters in that one.

Good deal!

Hamburger King is an old fashioned burger joint, its been in downtown Shawnee for about 75 years or so, they have good old fashioned burgers, greasy by modern standards, but they sure taste good!

I just saw this thread and was about to post about Hamburger King before I saw the date when this thread was started.  My grandad grew up in Bowlegs and lived in MWC but Hamburger King was one of his favorites.
