Tactical is a word that is tossed about so loosely used now days… Tactical this, tactical that… 
In my head, for something to be "Tactical" it has to have a purpose. Using black electrical tape to secure a flashlight pressure switch to a vertical fore grip is tactical. Sound proofing gear is tactical. Putting a simple blade in a good spot on your gear has a tactical advantage in a fight up close and personal. Calling a barrel "tactical" means shit. Calling a seatbelt cutter tactical cause its black or camouflaged means shit. I better shut up before my soap box comes out… |
