I drove through oklahoma this past may. At every gas station there were bags of beef jerky that was made in oklahoma. Clear bag, white label, black ink.

I picked up a 1lb bag of spicy, iirc it was $17.

It was to date the best beef jerky i have ever had, and my girlfriend agrees. But we cannot remember the name of it, or find it online (we dont know where to start looking other than "oklahoma beef jerky"

Do any of you locals happen to know what brand i am talking about? I would like to purchase more.

Thank you for any help.

There are several local brands of beef jerky. It will be hard to narrow down.

Do you happen to know a few of the oklahoma brands of beef jerky? Maybe i can search them.

I only kept seeing the same brand at all the oklahoma gas stations if that helps anyone.

nmlbeefjerky.com is what i was looking for.

At first i came across hard times, but they only sell 2.25oz bags. I remember buying a 1lb bag.

I came across no mans land beef jerky and as soon as i saw the package i remembered it.  Gonna order a few lbs tonight!

What you found was "No Man's Land Beef Jerky" made right here in Boise City, Oklahoma.  Check them out on the web, they do internet sales and you can find it in some truck stops.  They have 2 flavors, hot and mild.

I'll have to try some one of these days...I prefer my own but I think my dehydrator is on the back of a milk carton now.

Best jerky there is IMHO.
I've known the owner over 20 years.  Great guy.

The above is made in Chickasha.  I have seen them at some gunshows.  It's pretty good.

I have not had the Hard times... guess I should try it.

If you're on the eastern side of the state there is a place just north of Poteau, Shady Point to be exact, that has awesome jerkey. I think his name is hal, and he has  nice little store. Stop by every time I get a chance.
