Does OK still have the contiguous state law with regards to non-resident long gun purchases? I'm flying into Tulsa next week for a few days for work and I'm going to hit some shops while I'm there.

99% of the FFL's suck so bad and are so expensive on transfers down here that I'll pass on any purchases that need to be transferred. The only dealer that I have found in the state that I like and trust is an hour and a half away.

Evidently not for long guns anymore. I'm not sure when it changed, but I saw a guy from Washington state buy a Ruger 10/22 Takedown yesterday.

Thanks for the info. It'll make my gun shop visits that much better.

H&H had them.  They had the stainless standard and the threaded blued one, several of each at the time.  A threaded one followed me home!

Could he have been in the military, home state of Washington, but have orders stationing him to Oklahoma?

Nope.  He works for a company we do a lot of business with.
