Dirtybird and Hefner. Where are the better spots? Me and some buds are wanting to go tomorrow and wed like to get some bites. Ive heard cats are hittin to aggressively this year with the heat so we plan to stay a while... and at night. Im familiar with hefner but not to familiar with thunderbird anymore so detailed locations for Tbird would be appreciated

At Hefner, .by the water tower on the NE corner of the lake the water gets shallow, then deep, heading out from the dam road where it turns south.
Set tight lines from the corner toward the center of the lake.
Use cut shad or chicken liver.
Don't ask me what I know about fishing for channel cats or flatheads.

Catfishing can be pretty good in most of the downtown alleys.

Actually, I've found your odds increase by catching the catfish by hand.  Although its more fun with a hook and line.
