Any ranges in the Shawnee/okc area with a 200 yard set up?

I'm totally up for shooting at distance. Yesterday, we went with Leemozoid and friends, to OKCGC to shoot and we got to shoot my Grendel, Beowulf and my bff's M&P15 at 100 yards for the first time. She nailed an entire 30 round mag on target with her M&P15 using a bipod and her ACOG. We had never shot any of our stuff past thirty yards but she dropped down and put all thirty (she may have missed two I think) on target. I was impressed since she's never shot outside of an indoor 30 yard range before.
Once I got the Grendel's scope on target it was boringly easy at 100 yards so, after a single mag, I let Wilma shoot it and she did very well. We retired it after that until I can get a chance to shoot longer distance with someone who can teach me about using the features of my scope and, basically, how to shoot long distance because there's a lot more to it at the distances the Grendel was designed for. If any of you distance shooters want to volunteer just say so lol. |
