No, its not Bingo, but the last (reportedly) flying Boeing B-29 Superfortress landed at Wiley Post Airport today, and is supposed to be on display for 6 days.

On a side note, i read the B-29 was rushed into production to bomb Japan, and the program actually cost MORE than the Manhattan Project that developed atomic bombs. |

you have but to ask, and ye shall receive
http://www.wileypostairport.com/Page/NewsEvents#FIFI come to WPA its more than a B-29, there's a P-51 Mustang, and others too. Its a show / display by what used to be the Confederate Air Force until the pussies and libtards decided "confederate" was offensive and racist and renamed in the Commemorative Air Force. |

The B-29 was awesome. The P-51 Mustang was awesome. Ok, all the planes were awesome even if there wasn't many of them. I would have LOVED to have rode in the Mustang but at two THOUSAND dollars I had to say HELL no. I think they need to rethink their prices...maybe it's better to charge $300 and get 10 people to ride to make $3000 than to charge $2000 and get NOBODY to ride. I think they finally got enough people to take the B29 up and they got a few people to ride in the Stearman but not a single person signed up to ride in the Mustang.
All in all it was worth the $10 to get in just to walk through the B29...it was very cool. |
