| I notice that a lot of you have memberships. I am wanting to what the point of it is? I dont see the point in dishing out $24,$60, or even $100 for more im's and emails or is there more to it than that. So maybe someone can help me out here. Dont get me wrong im not against paying for the membership i just dont know what its all about. |

There are extra privileges with a Team Membership, such as a much better search function, which is only one of many perks. I think the main reason is to help support a board in which you are a participant, these things cost money to run, and advertising only pays part of the bill. So if you wish to participate, a little contribution to help pay the bills is appreciated by those who started this for OUR (the participants) benefit. |

I'm debating whether to re-up or not. ![]() What does the lifetime cost? The price goes up every time they offer it. I want to say the last time was $600 or so. They only offer them when they need some extra funds for site upgrades or maintenance. The main reason to sign up is to support the site. The bonuses are the team forum, more im's and messaging services, and the yearly team giveaway (buy a team membership and you are automatically entered). |

Okay I have a question about my account. How do I put the quote that a lot of you have at the bottom of each post? That is one of the advantages of membership. And can be done from the edit profile screen, along with the tag to the right of the avatar and the avatar itself. |

Strictly a volunteer position for us old farts that have some extra time on our hands. Quoted: I see now. I am glad I asked. I never would have thought about people running it and the money it takes to do so. I guess I should take these things for granted. Mod is this like a part/full time job for you or is it something you do in your spare time? |
