| We went today and bought a new gun safe. A beautiful Browning with lots of goodies. The arsenal has finally reached the point it was necessary. Hopefully it will be delivered Monday and all the toys will be safe in the safe. |
| I dunno..I had a friend who had several guns and one day he came home and they were all gone. So he bought a safe that bolted to his wall and replaced his stolen guns. He came home again to find they stole his axe and chopped the safe out of the wall and stole it along with all the guns in it. Our safe is going to be bolted to the concrete slab...it's not going anywhere. |

Most gun people reach the decision making point of "the safe or another gun". Most smart ones realize that the safe is probably the best way to go. Nden, you know damn good and well its past time for you to get a safe. yeah I really do need one to keep all my important papers and such in before my attorney starts charging me a storage fee |

I'm leaning toward a ArmorVault, because they're built right down the street from me.
I can see the steel before its cut and welded, i can be sure it didn't come from China (although the steel almost certainly did). I can get it any way i want, and i'm not too worried about it being carried off, the one i'm ogling weighs 1200lbs empty. Its the classic (as mentioned ) another rifle, or a safe? question. When Brigadoon's let their FFL go back i missed buying their ArmourVault by a hour. |

I've heard a lot of good things about Bear Safes and they are made in OKC.

At least they finally abandoned that old round key lock that proved so easy to pick. |

I know it's sacrilege but I've never eaten at Del Rancho...everyone has told me that the steak sandwich is really good. I guess I should go one of these days. the steak sandwich used to be good; it's near all Goddamned breading now; and onion rings are greasy as hell |

The best chicken fried steak sandwich in OKC is sold at NW 10th and Meridian. southeast corner. I can't remember the name of the place (CRS is running rampant in my feeble mind) but they are really good and the prices are great.
ETA Chuck House is the name of the place. It ain't fancy but we like it. It seems every time we fly out of OKC and then come back, we stop and pick up steak sandwiches for our meal. And on Super Bowl Sunday, they have a special, two for one. My in laws love to go there and do it about once every two weeks. It's worth trying out guys! http://www.chuck-house.com/ |

I"m sure they are more than 4 oz. even if they say that's what they weigh. They hang way out over the buns. I'm tight as bark on a tree most of the time and I think you get your money's worth at that place. |

New safe is awesome...no worries about getting stuck in it...its too full of guns. my safe is one of the "desk drawer" models; too small to crawl in and hide and only big enough to hold one pistol; which by the way is sadly all the gun(s) I own Darn boating accidents! They're occurring more and more frequently these days, or so it seems. |

Where did I mention Dan in my statement? I know he isn't the only one to "lose" firearms in a boating accident, it happens all the time.
