You have an AR10 barrel wrench and upper block?
I'm going to put a free float handguard on the carbine. |
|
Both the AR10T and the carbine are disappointing to say the least. The carbine is 2 to 4" at 100 yards depending on the ammo. The 10T is around 1.5 MOA and that is just not acceptable to me. The free float hand guard on the carbine may help. I may just get a whole new upper. I have been able to get all the AR15s to shoot where they are supposed to, but the 10s, I just don't have the knack for. |

I've seen a couple of the T's with aftermarket triggers do sub 1" groups for 3 rounds with 168gr match ammo and reloads. my 10's going to get a timney trigger for it's next upgrade when I can get my fun fund replentished; the 15 I had at tricity last summer has a 3# timney in it and I felt I shot just fine with it that day; figure one in my 10 might give me a slight improvement over the heavyweight trigger it's got from the factory. |

Why don't guys get an accurate 7.62x51? You know, like a nice Springfield M1A. ![]() Oh geeze then replace the following: stock, barrel, trigger group, unitized gas system, etc etc.
If I ever get a M1A for medium range, I'll pony up the $$ for a LRB receiver to bypass the scope mount fiasco Maybe a Polytech hahahahahaha |

Nden has shot my low end model and he knows it's damn accurate with iron sights. The NM ain't too shabby either. Both are 20+ years old though. |

My two M1As are both full of GI parts and preban.
Plus I've got enough parts to build another one short of a barrel and receiver so I'm gonna keep them running for a long time. My son wants me to get an AR10 of some sort but there ain't no way I'm gonna lay out the cash while I have two damn good M1As. |
