I have an AR pistol I want to SBR. I have a CAR and was thinking of registering the lower and using it as the lower for the CAR and SBR when not using the pistol lower. Is there ANY reason I might want to buy a separate lower for the SBR so the one that is registered is not my only lower with a stock?
Thanks!

No reason why you cant use the CAR lower for the SBR.  You can change uppers on it all you want, just keep an upper setup to the specs from your form 1.  Also you could SBR the pistol lower and put a M4 stock in it, then if you want to go back and forth from pistol to SBR you just slide the buttstock on and off.  And you keep the CAR stock.
