I got a few scratches on my truck yesterday morning from some blind idiot from Iowa. Dude didn't seem to know what he was doing so when I went to pass him, he turns right into me then claims I caught him in his blind spot ![]() those of you who have seen my truck, its not the biggest thing in the world, but its kinda hard to miss a Black, Double Cab Tundra at 0830 on a Sunny Saturday morn So anyway, I discovered that some of the scratches can be rubbed/buffed out. No dents anywhere but my right side running board has a black tire mark almost completely down the length of it. My rear passenger door was scratched all the way down to the metal, but no dent. With this being said, does anyone here do auto paint or know a good, reasonable place to get this kind of work done? |

For the rub and scuff marks get yourself a pack of mr clean magic erasers. Use as directed and it will look like new in the blink of an eye.
Paint . . . I have seen what eskridge lexus collision center can do. Its a good shop IMHO. I would drive it up there and ask what they would charge. |

My family has had two vehicles worked on at Davis Paint & Collision on 29th St just east Post Rd. We've been happy with them. I've heard great things about their body work as well. They did a spray in bedliner for my trailer, mostly a pretty good job. Great price though! (just some slight over spray, but its fine). I look for attention to detail, but they stuck to the timeline and estimate so I was happy. |
