Relatively speaking for some of you younger guys.
The holster is a Threepersons rig made by SD Myres in El Paso made sometime in the 1960s.
They shut down in 1969. Believe it or not, that holster is worth $150 as "antique" leather.
Look up Tom Threepersons who designed that style holster. It's interesting.
Most modern holsters actually developed from his design.
SD Myres was famous for their holsters since the early 1900s having made holsters for people like George Patton.
The handgun is a revolver loaned to me by a young soldier deployed to Afghanistan. He gets it back when he gets home. It was his father's issued handgun from the OCPD.
It dates back to the early 70s. It's a S&W Model 65 357 mag.
