whew!
I gotta start watching the weather report. Goddamned storm was barring down on my fat ass heading east out of blanchard, ducked into riverwind casino just as the rain started falling pretty good about 730p, then it got windy as hell, finally got a break about a quarter after 8 so I made a break for the house. don't know how bad the wind got but there was tree limbs/leaves all down 9 east of norman to 84th street, then it turned to coverage, fucking road looked to have a leave/limb carpet all over it, then the rain started back up and I rode the rest of the way in a downpour. fuckmefunny I've been wetter before in the shower, but not with all my clothes on, then I got to my driveway and it is muddy as a fucking creek bottom, thought I was gonna have to leave my bike in the road, but I was able to walk beside it feathering the throttle the 100+ yards to where I park. |

watching news9 and they reported that around 12ave ne and robinson got snapped power poles/lines down and apartment roof blown off at porter and rockcreek with power down there also.
showning pics of damage property and trees all around town and lots of hail covering the ground. guess it was good thing I hid out at riverwind, that and the $50 I cleared. |

Nden,
The wife and I was coming back through Shawnee and got to see a real nice light show. We were on I-40 going west and it sure looked rougher south of 1-40, rain was coming down pretty good but the wind was not too bad. About Anderson Road I had a guy on a bike pass us and I immediately thought about you––not sure why, but you were the first person that came to mind when thinking of bikes in the rain. Glad you made it home. |

Just got power back where I'm at.
I was getting the generator out this morning when the lights turned on. Our trash cans tried to escape, as well as our patio table, and the neighbor's boat began to take flight towards my truck. My 6x12 trailer that I took the lug nuts off of shifted off the wheels. The paper said 89 mph. |
I was recording the rotation in the updraft on the a$$ end of the norman storm, looking from about 96th st 5 mi south of 9... Looked pretty mean and it really tried to form for a second once it got out by the lake... Power was out for about three hours and just after dad and I unhooked the well pump and wired in the generator, I had told him to unhook and handle the hot wire as fast as he could and then just as we got it rigged up the power came back on if we want the power to come on, we just hook up generators |

Elgin:
It took out the overhead awning for the gas pumps along with most of the shingles on the Fina station, snapped two electrical poles down the road from us, knocked over a bunch of street signs, and I saw one shed on its side. It also completely destroyed the smokehouse that was in the Williams parking lot, fortunately a truck stopped most of the debris from blowing away. Well, maybe not so fortunate for the truck.

Driving back into Norman last night at about 10:30, the streets were covered in brush, twigs, leaves and stuff, and there was a huge aluminum sign from somewhere that got rolled, torn into multiple pieces and crumpled up, laying in the front yard of the Norman Library
ETAdd: There were multiple fences torn up off of porter north of Rock Creek, and the worst one I saw was where the fence blew over and a yard storage building blew away at the same time but the riding lawnmower was left sitting where it was parked inside the shed
