This is your computer. I want to come home . . .
Yeah bud its AOK and doing fine. Could use an upgrade starting with well . . . . the whole damn thing but I am sure it will get you buy just fine. I did however enlarge a hole on the side of the case to accept a case fan screw and mounted a side intake fan. The std fan size inside your case consisted of 1 8cm(80MM) on the CPU heatsink as well as one the same size on the rear as an exaust. The Power Supply has two that function as exaust. The new side intake is a 120mm or 12cm fan. Nothing fancy just an extra I had laying around. Your mother board has an extra three pin fan connector aready there unused so I used it, This way when the load need pulled in fresh air it can do it on its own and the side fan is not constantly running at 100%. However since p4 cpus have a tendency to run hot I expect it will be on quite a bit. Its a low decible fan so it should get you buy just fine. LMK if you want to scoop it up tomorrow or? ETA - Quick and noticeable upgrades include RAM as well as Video Card. You could do a lot with a $100 and knock both out as well as max your mother boards ram (manufacturers specs max at 2 gigs) Glad to help just let me know. |
