Geez it's windy outside. I was headed to the range and blew it off. Shooting in 30+ mph wind isn't too enjoyable.

I've got a couple of large brush piles I need to burn. I can't do it in this wind.
We need some more rain.

It's windy out here too.  Walking to my lab a little before 2 I walked past the end of my apartment building and got sandblasted in the face.  I'm used to it being windy out here but dang it's blowing harder today.

I've been trying to get out to the range to try out, and sight in 3 AR's, I put a red dot on the 22 upper, I got a 1.5x to 4.5x variable I installed on the 16" upper that the red dot had been on, and I built a 20" bull barrel around Christmas, I finally got around to installing a scope on it, all 3 need sighting in.  I've been volunteering at the aviation center vo-tech 2 days a week, and the weather has pretty much killed the other days, and I don't want to go to the range on the weekends, I like it during the week when it isn't so busy.  Next week is spring break, so I'm off next week as well, and the weather is supposed to be warm, so I should finally be able to get that done!

I had a pretty good day at the range, aside from a round disassembling itself and dumping powder in my Savage that took twenty minutes to clean out.

The range I go to is in a depression, wind generally isn't too bad, but it does have a tendency to swirl.

I do not mind the wind.
