Anyone have any experience with or recommendations for a place to get them?

Preferably around OKC.

Too much gunfire, too little ear protection combined with loud drag cars and concerts have taken their toll. Matter of fact, the only thing I can hear is my wife bitchin cause she has to repeat everything!

Midwest City Hearing Aid Center. I bought mine there for around $800 less than the quotes i got at a couple of the other "big name" places like Nu Sound.

Customer service has been excellent every time I've had to go in for a repair. I've never had it take more than a couple of hours to get it back as repairs are done on the spot.

My wife is an audiologist.  She's great, and of course I'd recommend her.  That being said, avoid hearing aid dealers like the plague.  Go to a certified audiologist who will most likely be a AuD (PHD equiv.) or an Ear, Nose and Throat doc (M.D.).

The reason is that most hearing aid tech's have hours of training to fit hearing aids, which is what you find at hearing aid dealers (Nu-sound, Economy, ect.)

Audiologist and ENT's have doctorates.....just a bit more understanding......

Also, more than likely, the price will be less at the Dr.'s office.......
