F'n Rock.  They shot great Sumo!  No need to go the redneck range.  We need to step out to Thunderbird or Lexington!  I have loaded about 175 total and shot a random sampling.  Everything worked but the 357 brass.  It would not fit in the cylinder.  Seems to not be crimping very well.  OH well.....I have tons of .38 that works fine.

are you crimping the bullet at the same time you're seating the bullet?

Yes it seems to be working that way.  The .357 cases are also longer.  That may have something to do with it.

a issue with seating and crimping in the same step is that sometimes the case bulges/buckles enough that  the round won't chamber.

You'll have to re-adjust the dies for the 357's and load them separately from the 38 spl's. At least that's what it sounds like to me at the moment.

What the hell do I know? I'm only on my second cup of coffee...

can't remember if it was lee or rcbs that had the spacer rings with the 38/357 dies (got all mine set in their own toolheads),

when changing from 38 to 357 all you did was unscrew the die install the spacer and reinstall the die back in, you didn't have to do any major adjustments

I added .357 brass to .38 by accident.  OOPs.

Sounds good.  Will look at the ones in question when we come down sat.

Just loaded the rest of my brass.  Somewhere around 400 rounds waiting on a trip to the range.  Can't wait to get to Thunderbird.  I love those little steel targets.
