Already saw them. Only a couple (Model 13s) are priced right.
Several of the 65s have been on there set at higher prices and been ignored.
I've got to get it at a decent price or I'll not bid on them.
ETA Thanks!

Once upon a time there was a young lad who was committing blasphemy by condeming the 1911 as a "outmoded and outdated POS". He was singing the praises of the newest plastic fad (glock) proclaiming it as the best thing since sliced bread. Lo and behold that the day came when he threw away the plastic gun, and started looking for the old dependable revolver, which everyone knows is much older technology than even the 1911. Whay happened to the young lad?
Invasion of the body snatchers?
Let down by the plastic gun?
Just plainly saw the error of his ways?
Educated by those most intelligent gun lovers on the Arfcom OKHTF?

I don't know who you are talking about per say....BUT...He may finally haver decided that he is a MUCH better shot with a wheelie, and the little plastic semi autos; (While High Quality), were not as comfortable in his hand as a good old fashioned Smithy revolver.  We all live and learn I guess......PLUS he had the guidance of those wise and knowledgeable members of ARFCOM to guide him.  And he is grateful for their patience and teachings.

When Jesus returns, he'll probably be carrying a 1911.

I grew up on revolvers and 1911s. The first revolver I ever shot was a Webley converted to 45 ACP in moon clips when I was eight. The second handgun I ever fired was a 1911 a few months later.
All were shot on the Canadian River near Harrah while we were catfishing.
I had my first 1911 when I was 14. My dad used my lawn mowing money to buy it.
I sold it when I was 16 so I could make a down payment on my first car.
The first gun I bought by myself was a Model 36 S&W the day after I turned 21.
I still have it 36 years later.
I like shooting revolvers now cuz I'm too damn lazy to chase brass out of a Glock, Sig, or 1911.

get both, have both, shoot both a lot

slow fire I shoot revolvers and semiauto pistols with about the same accuracy, rapid fire, it's semi auto pistols all the way.

the next handgun I buy it's either going to be a blackhawk 45c/45acp convertible with 4 5/8 or 5.5" barrel, or a decent high quality 1911.
