Sen Russell has said we have a state representative holding up the SDA lifetime license.
Contact her and let her know how you feel about the SDA and the lifetime license Contact Information for Rep Sue Tibbs is as follows: Capitol Address: 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd. Room 303-A Oklahoma City, OK 73105 (405) 557-7379 District Address: 10902 E. 28th Street Tulsa, OK 74129-7603 (918) 663-3915 Email: [email protected] You have her email, you have her phone numbers, I suggest you contact her at all three places and let her know how you feel about her position on the SDA lifetime provision. Be nice, be firm and insistent, and tell her you will follow this bill and her actions on it closely. You guys in Tulsa, feel free to call and ask when she will be home so you can talk to her in person about this matter. Fire for effect! |

I sent this:
Senator, I am not happy with you holding up the process. I am watching the progress of this bill and I will support you if you support this bill. If you do not support this bill I will spend my time and money to see you are defeated in the next election. |

Her reply.....looks like a blanket response....
Lifetime SDA Concerns:
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is against any form of a lifetime concealed gun permit for the following reasons based on the public’s safety: · No updates in the following areas: Criminal history record checks – they will never know about arrests in other states after the license is issued Mental health checks Photographs Addresses · Reciprocity Will states continue to honor Oklahoma SDA licenses based on the fact that the above updates are never conducted? · When people are renewing, they are more apt to review the law book which we publish every year with changes in the law. Will they continue to stay updated? If not, this could create problems for the license holder. Sue Tibbs State Representative 2300 N.
