Put together an Aero Precision lower tonight and thought I would share a pic with everyone.  Don't know if any of you have used aero precision lowers or not.  This was the first one of these that I have put together.  My first build was with a stag lower.  The fit of the stag is a little better than the Aero.  When I put the upper on, there was a little bit more play in it than the Stag.  That is a Del-Ton upper.

Pretty low prices on those stripped lowers!

The price is what made me try one.  It was $133 shipped with a DPMS parts kit included.

I was thinking of trying one too...would you spend the money and go with someone else next time?

I ordered one for my youngest son earlier in the month and expect it next week.  Aero is the same company that makes all of the Armalite AR57 lowers. I think Aero is also the remnant of the old Fairchild Aircraft which was what gave birth to Armalite in the 1950s. The price for a complete forged lower is unbeatable. We'll see how it performs. The only one I have it to compare it to is a Stag.  My upper fit a little tighter on the Stag.  I shimmed the Aero and took out all the slack.  I took it out Saturday for a test run.  It worked just like it should.  I would probably try another one.

I have one and can not tell the difference between it and my DPMS
