was anyone up to Red Castle gun range this past Sunday? i was there and was just kinda curious as to if anyone was there.

I was up there on the Sunday before last and I was up there on Friday. Sorry I missed ya! Someone left a hell of a lot of .223 brass on the plinking range and my son and I were able to fill up a large Crown Royal bag. My thanks to the guy who left that for us. I even found some 5.7x28mm brass laying around. I don't know what I'm gonna do with that though. Oh well.

Oh well. i just love that range! nicest range i hae ever been to! when we were there i finally got my eotech sighted in, so i went over to the 200-600meter range and started throwing rounds down range, and i gotta tell ya, eotechs are wonderful for longer ranges! that smaller dot is the perfect size (for me anyways), i was dropping steel plates at 200meters no problem, after i ran outta falling plates i tried the 300meter steel, and i was dropping those like it was nothing! best range trip i have ever had, there is nothing more motivating or exciting then hearing the steel go "DING" and then see it fall at 300meters! i am officially finished with my AR, got everything i need on it, it is sighted in, and deadly accurate. i think im done... well i need a CMMG .22lr conversion, but other than that im done

The again, the turkeys are harder to hit... very true... havent went out that far yet. ill have to try it for shits and giggles the next time i go out. i only got the bushy ar15 with an eotech so it should be interesting
