Anyone going?  Thought it would be cool to meet a few fellow arfcommers.

PS –– I know it says my location is in NV, but I'm TDY to Texas right now.

I'm probably gonna' make it.  Funny enough, because I'm trying to meet up with an ARFCOMMER I know from around there.

Normally I'd be going, but............We have a HTF shoot on Sunday at Lexington WMA and I'm only willing to make those drives once a week. Not to mention its a metcalf show and I'm about halfway to boycotting his dumbass shows

$12.00 to get in and look at 10 to 15 tables of guns, and another 8 or 10 tables of beanie babies and junk.

Except that they are pissing off the vendors, causing them to quit coming to his shows. Also, vets, active duty mil, and coppers get half off the entrance for all shows EXCEPT metcalf shows

Any of the OKC shows the best deals are walking around, not on any table.

Wormydog, I agree with you 100%. I still go sometimes so Chuck won't make fun of my antique shopping
I try to keep a leash on Fister before he snarfs up any good deals before I see them. But it's awful hard to do.

I think I'll start a show, and let all vets and current military in for free, and charge cops tripple!

Thanks for the input guys, I see what you mean about the high admission and lot's of...dumb tables.  If any of you were there today, I was the guy running around in a green polo with oakleys on his head  I'm just excited that I was able to get 500 rds of .40, first pistol ammo I've seen in months.

I'm also seriously considering going back tomorrow for one of the Hutton's Edge knives I saw.  From the basic digging I've done since getting back to my hotel, the price he offered me was quit a discount.  Anyone here know anything about his knives?

I went today and it wasn't bad, my friend picked up a lower and parts kit for his first build, so that mission was a success.

On another note...the prices people wanted for stuff  were pretty insane.

I saw one guy walking around with a sign on his backpack trying to sell his AR for $1600 with a larue rail and CAA furniture. He wasn't having much luck from what I could see.

went this weekend, it is funny that the metcalf show don't give a AD military discount , but thats ok, picked up some 223 for my AR, some .308 for my cetme and a nice mil dot scope for the cetme too. not as good of a selection as the last show that was there at all.

suppose to be another one on the 18-19th...
