Most any spider or scorpion if stung or bitten will burn like hell. Did you see it at all? Hows your heart rate?

When in doubt call the doc? Guess you could call poison control? Not sure if they handle venoms?

Yep they do. Give poison control a shout.

Call poison control and see what hey recommend. Sounds like an ordinary spider bite though.

So no other symptoms? Fever, sweats, chills, blurry vision, slowed responce time, feeling like your viewing remotely through a tunnel? Etc?

Just to be sure PM me your address and be sure to set out all your guns, ammo and firearm related items by the front door. So if it turns out not to be run of the mill I can just swing by and load it up quickly.

I would recomend taking a benadryl (sp?) but you should probably contact the control center and see what they have to say first. It should only take a second.

Go back out there and try to locate the spider now that you know where it lives.
